 Can
a Spiritual Healer cure me of my Illness? Healers will never claim the ability to cure and your recovery cannot
be guaranteed, however healing will generally affect your well being positively,
and in some cases dramatically. Testimonies to benefits received come from
all kinds of complaints, including patients suffering from terminal disease.
Must
a person be of consenting age to receive Spiritual Healing? No. Spiritual Healing is given to persons (and animals)
of all ages. However a child under consenting age must have their parents
or guardians permission to receive it - and of course they must be already
registered with a doctor. Incidentally, children make wonderful responsive
patients!
How
much does spiritual healing cost? Many healers rely on voluntary donations from the patient to
defray costs. Some healers will request expenses only, and some
healers practising full time will charge fees. You should ask
what convention operates when making enquiries.
 I
would like healing for my animal/Pet. Can you Help? Yes we can. Animals are superb patients as they are so
accepting of what is natural. We do expect the owner to have
sought the advice of a vet, and if not, recommend that they do
so. Healing is complementary to vetinary treatment, not an
alternative. However, in an emergency a healer will attend
an animal whether or not a vet is currently treating it.
Distant healing can also be given to animals as it is to people.
I
have to have faith or be religious to get beneift from
Spiritual Healing? No is the short answer. Healing can be given successfully to a patient who is agnostic or atheistic. Recipients who do have belief systems often feel that their inner understanding helps the healing process. Believer or not, it helps if you have an open mind and respect for the effort being given. Animals are ideal patients as they naturally accept the flow of healing energies. Healers will never impose their understanding or make belief a pre condition of
healing.
I
am taking medication, can I still receive healing and
benefit from it? Yes you can. Spiritual Healing is entirely complementary,
working in harmony with both allopathic and alternative medicine. At no time
will you be expected to stop prescribed medication or curtail your sessions
with an alternative medical practitioner.
 Can
I have a friend or partner present during the healing
session? All Healers will want their patients to be relaxed as possible and if you
feel the need, for whatever reason, to have a friend, partner or member of
family present they will agree the request. Where the healing takes place
in public or private session your chosen companion will be given place to
observe. If your health condition requires skilled attention the Healer will
welcome such support, as this will free them to focus on releasing the healing
energies.
Can
I expect a Spiritual Healer to respect my confidences? Yes you can. Spiritual Healers work to a code of conduct that specifically
requires the strictest confidence to be practiced. You can be sure that conversations
will remain private and records will be kept according to the provisions of
the Data Protection Act. These records can be seen by you at anytime, or may
be given you if so required.
 How
can I tell that a Spiritual Healer is trained to AHA
Standards? All Spiritual Healers carry a membership card of the association they belong
to, this ID will be produced on request and shows who the member is, the association
they belong to, reference to AHA, the period of current membership, and that
they are insured to practice.
